Misleading Miss Verity
(Regency Brides: Daughters of Aynsley #3)
Verity Hatherleigh has a mind of her own—but her actions do not impress her viscount papa. When she gets into one scrape too many, he sends her off to the wilds of Scotland to rethink her headstrong ways.
Anthony Jardine relished his role as curate, but his new duties as laird of Dungally aren’t always to his liking. Though he thought his new inheritance would be a blessing, somehow he’s finding nothing but trouble on these estates. And the intelligent, compassionate, feisty lass who was sent to rusticate in his territory is one of the biggest problems. He’s falling in love with her, but she doesn’t share the faith that’s his foundation—not to mention he’s been lying to her about who he really is. For the truth-loving Verity, that may be unforgivable.
have woven may spell disaster for their happiness—and for the tenants of Dungally.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I spent time reading a lot of books and Misleading Miss Verity was one that I adored! This is my favorite book out of the Regency Brides by Carolyn Miller. Verity is a hoot! She is her own person and very determined. She is not afraid to face the music of her actions and she is just a delight of a character. I love her! And, Anthony, he is a character. The plot will keep your interest and is one that is moving.
This is a fantastic series and I am sad that this one is finished. I know that you will enjoy it. I cannot wait to read more books from Carolyn. This series can be read as a standalone, but is much more enjoyable when you read as a series. I recommend this entire series.
