My Thoughts:
Woah! Caleb Breakey is an author to be on the look out! The String as his debut novel is incredible and I cannot wait to read more from him. I was blown away by this book and could not put it down. I read it in two work evenings. This book is a page turner with non-stop action. This is an interesting book for any person who loves thrillers. Wow! If I stay here and write more, I will give a lot of this book away, but PICK it UP!

A Glitter of Gold (Georgia Coast Romance #2) by Liz Johnson

42181749. sy475 A Glitter of Gold

(Georgia Coast Romance #2)

by
Anne Norris moved to Savannah, Georgia, for a fresh start. Now her pirate-tour business is flagging, and paying the rent requires more than wishful thinking. When she discovers evidence of a shipwreck off the coast of Tybee Island, she knows it could be just the boon she needs to stay afloat. She takes her findings to local museum director Carter Hale for confirmation, but she runs after a disastrous first meeting.
Carter has been searching for the location of the wreck detailed in the worn pages of an 18th-century diary, the discovery of which could open the door to his dream job at a prestigious museum. But convincing Anne to help him fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle is no easy task. And working with Carter means that Anne will have to do the one thing she swore she'd never do again: trust a man.
My Thoughts:
A Glitter of Gold is the second book in the Georgia Cost Romance series and it is swoon worthy. This book is one that will keep you turning the pages as this amazing story develops between Carter and Anne. I love that the setting of this book was Tybee Island. I visited Tybee Island three years ago, so I loved the Sunken Ship, Diary, Sweet Tea, Historical Homes and museums. This book was everything for me! I couldn't stop reading. The themes of faith, forgiveness, love and trust were weaved in this book that made it an amazing read! A Glitter of Gold is one of my favorite books that I have read this summer.

Shift Your Thinking for a Deeper Faith by Del Sesto

Shift Your Thinking for a Deeper Faith

by Del Sesto
About:

In the busyness of life, it's easy to get distracted and disconnected from the many promises God has made about who he is, the strength we find in him, and the abundance of spiritual tools, abilities, and assets we have at our disposal. These are not necessarily things we have to search out to acquire--they already exist within us. And Dean Del Sesto wants to help you access them every day.

With hard-hitting truths, memorable quotes, and powerful perspective shifts, Del Sesto helps you connect (or reconnect) at a deeper level to the power, potential, and purpose you already have so that you can live your life with greater freedom, resilience, and wisdom. Perfect for business professionals on the go, the busy student, the active parent, and anyone who needs a boost of spiritual strength at any time, this book promises to help you live your life from an internal resolve rather than in reaction to your external circumstances.

My Thoughts:

Shift Your Thinking for a Deeper Faith is a book that has 99 ways to strengthen your faith walk with the Lord.
This book is broken up in the mini chapters or as I read it, a devotional so to speak. It comes in bite size chunks, so
it is easy to read, digest and apply to your life. At the end of each chapter are a series of questions to help you think and process about what you just read in order to apply the principles into your life and with others. Personally, I thought this book was very helpful as I have found several of his others books to be the same way. Give this book a read. You do not need to read all the chapters in order. I read this book as a devotional and really enjoyed it.
