Dodging bullets takes a simple missing person case to a new level as Jonah Cahill, a Pinkerton agent, and Madeline Latour, an investigative reporter, form a tentative truce in Galveston, Texas, 1880. Are they on to a much bigger story when their best witness is suddenly kidnapped?

My Thoughts:
My Heart Belongs in Galveston Texas is another wonderful book in the “My Heart Belongs series.” If you haven’t started reading this entire series by various offers, I highly recommend that you do! For starters, I loved this novel by Kathleen Y’ Barbo. I could not put it down. It was a quick and great read. The characters were amazing and I loved the back and forth between Jonah and Madeline. Don’t miss Madame though, she’s an interesting character. The characters surprised me in a good way. The plot and storyline was a great build up and I just was unable to put this book down. I enjoyed the surprises along the way and the ending surprised me for sure. This was a book that did not disappoint. Make sure to grab your copy today, for a great summer read! I highly enjoyed this historical read. It was a great adventure and one to not be missed.
