A Gift for Anne Marie (An Amish Second Christmas)
by Kathleen Fuller
About:
Anne Marie and Nathaniel have been best friends since they were kids. Now things are evolving . . . in ways everyone else predicted long ago. But when her mother suddenly decides to remarry in another state, Anne Marie's new chapter with Nathaniel looks doomed to end before it begins.
My Thoughts:
A Gift for Anne Marie is one out of four books from An Amish Second Christmas Novella Collection. This book is a collection of light hearted Amish Romance novella's that are appropriate for teens. A Gift for Anne Marie is a great story. Anne Marie and Nathaniel have been best friends since they were children, and Annie Marie's life has been perfect. She couldn't ask for anything more, until she discovers a secret about her mother and she is forced to move. More importantly, Annie Marie is growing up and her relationship with Nathaniel is changing. Her emotions and feelings are confusing and she isn't sure what to do. I think this novella speaks to anyone who has ever experienced and can completely relate to her feelings. As a reader, I was moved by the emotion behind this story and I was turning the pages rapidly. I give this novella 5/5 stars.
