An Amish Christmas Love Four Novellas By Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Ruth Reid, Kelly Irvin

An Amish Christmas Love Four Novellas

By Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Ruth Reid, Kelly Irvin

My Thoughts :

Winter Kisses by Beth Wiseman
This story tells of  three generations of women  living together on the farm. Each woman is very lonely, but they have decided to rent out their daddi house to three Amish carpenters. Will this bring them new love or will it move them towards a new life? You'll love the different angles that Beth Wiseman brings to the table in Winter Kisses from the different generations.
The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston
Emma Bontrager is spending her first Christmas alone after her husband of 45 years, Henry has passed away since July. When a cat joins her for Christmas he is not the only visitor, but also some other visitors come and make her Christmas special as she remembers the past and is hopeful for the future. Emma's story is one that really stuck with me and had tears in my eyes and I thought of the difficulties she and Henry faced early on in their marriage, while I won't spoil it for you, I shed a lot of tears and felt that this novella was fantastic. It is a must read out of this collection! This one and Ruth Reid were my favorite and I couldn't say one was better than the other because both of these novella's had parts of my own story in them.
Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin
This Novella is a fantastic story of the element of faith as David Byler falls for an English woman, Bobbie McGregor during his rumspringa, but she did not want him to give up his faith, so things end between the two. Enter Molly Shrock into the scene, a lovely gal who he meets at his church and things seems to be going very well . Bobbie comes back into his life after she goes through some difficult family struggles. Who will David choose or will God lead his heart? I really felt for David in this story. The choices he had to make was difficult, but this story will tie at your heart strings.
Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid
First, I love that this story is set in Michigan! Can, I just squeal about that for a minute? Second, I found it fantastic how Ruth Reid weaved a beautiful story about an English woman and an amish man all while writing about a home Ellie inherited from her Amish Aunt. I also related completely and 100% to Allison and felt this book was written for me as I have experienced the medical difficulties that Allison has, so I can understand exactly why Ezra reacted the way he did to Ellie's dog and his uncertainties  This book had me at so many emotions from the diary, to Allison and the unwritten agreement between Ezra and Bonnie. This book was full of surprises and I loved every minute of it! My heart was in every emotion, with tears, to cheering to laughter to feeling the pain. This one was another one of my favorites!
