An Amish Summer by Shelley Shepard Gray, Amy Clipston , Kathleen Fuller and Kelly Irvin Novella Collection

An Amish Summer by Shelley Shepard Gray, Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller and Kelly Irvin Novella Collection:

An Amish Summer is a collection of four Novella's written by Shelley Shepard Gray, Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller and Kelly Irvin. Each of these stories have an element of faith and romance that you'll love. Don't miss adding this Novella collection to your summer reading list. Each of these stories are wonderful and some of them I anticipate future stories with character development!

My Thoughts:

A Reunion in Pinecraft by Shelley Shepard Gray:
Sherilyn has a penpal and has been writing letters back and forth weekly to Graham who she met at a wedding. The problem is, Graham thinks he actually writing to Sharon. He has no idea he is writing to Sheilyn. However, when he finds out, he doesn't want to hurt Sherilyn and tries to get to know both of the sisters. What sister is the one he truly is in love with and will it be too late? This is a case of mistaken identity in penpal letters and such a great read. I give this novella 5/5 stars.

Summer Storm by Amy Clipston:
Arianna has been dreaming of her wedding to Jesse. The two have been friends for such a long time, but then her brother Tobias makes some bad decisions that has her questioning whether Jesse is the right person for her to marry. Can she trust Jesse to be her husband? Furthermore, is her brother the one to blame or he the one to thank despite her anger towards their engagement being ended by her father because of the accident? This novella will have you turning the pages and wondering if Jesse and Arianna are meant to be. You won't be able to put this down until you know what happens to these friends.  I loved this story and cannot wait to return to these characters. I give this novella 5/5 stars!

Lakeside Love by Kathleen Fuller:

Sarah has always been the beautiful sister. The men always seem to take note and Esther always feels as though she is just plain. When a young Englischer comes to stay with the family for the summer, Esther notices that Judah slowly becomes jealous of her spending time with him. Although she feels that Sarah is the right person for Judah, he gives mixed signals to Esther and she writes it off. Will Esther fall in love with the handsome Englischer, Rhett or will Sarah be able to woe him with her looks? What will happen with Judah as he has eyes for Sarah? Sounds like this could be an interesting read eh? I loved how Ms. Fuller mixed an Rhett into this story and allowed him to live with the family and experience the culture. It was an interesting turn of events. I give this novella 5/5 stars.

One Sweet Kiss by Kelly Irvin:

The reader is taken back to Bee County, Texas where we meet Martha who is attracted to Jacob. One evening Jacob is taking Martha home, but Dwayne was breaking the law. Jacob feels the need to help him and Martha very much feels that he should receive consequences for his behavior. Although Martha isn't impressed with Dwayne, her feelings for Jacob haven't left, yet she has insecurities from her childhood budding up. Would Jacob be a responsible husband? Martha can't help but remember her past from her childhood and decides she may not be able to trust him, unless she spends a summer with him. Will things change for them? Give this novella a read. I give this novella a 5/5 stars.
