The Hawaiian Quilt by Wanda E. Brunstetter, Jean Brunstetter

The Hawaiian Quilt by Wanda E. Brunstetter, Jean Brunstetter

Join Mandy Frey as she and three friends leave their Amish community in Indiana for the trip of a lifetime to Hawaii. But when Mandy and one of her friends miss the cruise ship after a port of call on Kauai, how will they adjust and get back home? Find out in this brand new romance from New York Timesbestselling author Wanda E. Brunstetter, writing with her daughter-in-law Jean Brunstetter.

My Thoughts:
The cruise ship has left, and Mandy Frey is stuck on the island with Hawaii unsure how she is going to get home. However, God had a bigger plan. Between Ken, the bed and breakfast, celebrating Christmas and learning Hawaii traditions, Mandy and Ellen learn how to adapt to a new culture. This was a fantastic read and I couldn't believe that four Amish girls traveled to Hawaii. As a reader, this book was an absolute gem! You'll love the imagery in this book and don't miss the story behind the quilt that was missing for many years, will it turn up? I loved this book and did not want it to end, but loved how it did. I give this book 5/5 stars and HIGHLY recommend that you pick up this book. It is like any other book I have ever read as an amish book. It was very unique, which is why I loved it. If you are looking for a great read that is quick, I highly recommend this book!
