I finally had the opportunity to finish "The Christmas Secret," which has been sitting on my shelf along with a pile of books that I have meant to give you reviews on, but I wanted to get you this review out right away because I simply loved it!
Don't let the title of Christmas throw you off from this book. I feel like this book was meant for me to read it after Christmas. This year the Lord gave me the verse "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding," which is the basis of this novella.
Elizabeth Canning is anticipating her Christmas Eve wedding
and marriage to Davis Stinner until she comes across her Aunt's
secret diary. The diary continues secrets of the past that make
her deeply hurt and sadden. She uncovers a hidden family secret that will ruin everything if she doesn't leave town. In order to escape the answer, and not wind up broken hearted, she goes to live with her grandparents. Will David try to come after her and find out what this family secret is all about? Will her best friend Helen muddle this whole thing up or will she be a part of this secret that will forever ruin Elizabeth's friendship? To find out, purchase a copy of "The Christmas Secret." You will be glad you did! I give this book 5/5 stars. A favorable review was not required. Head to Amazon to purchase your own copy.
