Abigail finds herself in an awful situation where she starts to smell fire. Not sure of how to proceed, she begins looking for water like any natural instinct. Of course, she falls and is picked up by a set of "strong arms." Abigails life takes on a series of unfortunate events as she is being blamed for the intentional fire.
Eventually, she meets the handsome and brave fireman, Sammy, who starts to feel something for her, but wants justice for Abigail. This is well written from the very beginning to the ending. Ms. Hilton does a great job teaching life lessons through both characters about faith, forgiveness, love, trusting people and community.
