Maple Valley became Amelia Bentley's haven after her heart and her dreams of a family were shattered. But when the newspaper she runs is in danger of closing, she pins all her hopes on a story that just might convince the new owner to keep the paper running. After his biggest campaign success yet, widowed speechwriter Logan Walker has the chance of a lifetime: a spot on a presidential campaign. But first he has to return to his hometown to sell the newspaper he's suddenly inherited. But instead of a quick sale, Logan finds himself helping Amelia chase her story. She's scrappy, but wounded. He's dependable, but lost. And working together to break the story on Maple Valley's unsolved mystery is just the start of the sparks that fly in the office and in their hearts.
"Like Never Before" is one of those books that you keep on your shelf because Melissa Tagg has the ability to engage readers into the town of Maple Valley as she weaves Logan and Amelia into the hearts of readers. This story is full of charm, whitt, romance and you'll have a difficult time putting it down because the novel is so inviting, you simply have to find out what happens, until you get to the end. A story of hope, second chances and of course some sparks, what wouldn't want you to grab a copy of this book? This is another book that I will be keeping with all of my other Melissa Tagg books because it is fantastic. Her books continue to get better and better as she writes. This is her fourth novel and if you haven't read anything by her, I highly recommend picking up any of her books.
Thank you to Bethany House for providing a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.. I give this book 10/5 stars. Wait till you meet Logan, you will love this book!
