Woody Colton, the father of little Jimmy, is completely grieving the loss of his wife. The entire town blames him for his wives murder as the killer was not found. His son, Jimmy will not talk after the trauma and Woody does not know how to help him.
This story is more that just Lillian moving in with Woody to nanny and take care of Jimmy, but a story of forgiveness and the deep wounds that gossip can have on someone's life. It is a beautiful story of redemption, healing and the story of how God can show up to help any difficult situation.
"Beyond the Silence" is a remarkable novel about love, forgiveness, and healing. I loved this book and never had ready a book by Tracie Peterson. I read it in one sitting because I could not put it down. Having never read anything by Kimberly Woodhouse, I enjoyed her sense of style of writing as well. I hope to read many more books by both of these authors. I also enjoyed the character Harry and cannot wait for you to meet him!
Thank you to Bethany House for providing me a copy through Litfuse. I give this book five stars!
