I'm so glad to have made it home safe and am now enjoying Starbucks Peppermint Mocha coffee in my favorite holiday mug!
I'm all bundled in a cozy blanket reading " The Daniel Plan" written by Rick Warren.
My husband and I are trying to figure our how to live the best and healthy life we can. This book is a version of the Daniel Diet, which is something I have never completely participated in. The Daniel Diet is all about eating fresh foods , little to no carbs and minimal meat.
This book is recieving negative reviews because many people who have read the Daniel Diet from the Bible aren't a fan. I, however am enjoying this book because I think has a realistic view of the Daniel Diet! This book is was written by Rick as he began to see that he and his church members were overweight and not living a healthy lifestyle that they were intended to do.
I like the recipes and ideas this book offers. They are practical and you don't need to be a chef to make these meals. That's a bonus for me! I'm a terrible cook!!!
If you're looking to get an extra start or boost on healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle, this gives you a good game plan to help through the Christmas Season. I'm trying to keep the weight off, yet enjoy the season.
Q: How do you maintain your weight during the Holiday season??

Sounds like a good book! I've heard of the Daniel Plan but never implemented it in my own life...it sounds way tough. I like that this book takes a different spin on it! I like Rick Warren, too!
This version, seems more doable. I'll keep you posted how it goes.
