The only way to complete goals, is to first make them, devise and attack them. When I look at some of my goals for 2013, I realize some of them will not happen because we have made different decisions. Let's see what I was able to accomplish in January.
My #1 goal was to finish the Walt Disney Marathon!
We totally accomplished this goal! Best day ever! I am so proud! If you missed any of my Marathon posts, go here and here! I am so proud of my husband! He was a great running partner!

At this point, Riverbank is out of the question for me! Not because I don't want to do it, but because I have plantar fasciitis going on in the feet. My feet need to rest, stay iced and reduce inflammation as much as possible to get better. My goal is to maintain one long run a month (12miler) and then short runs.. I need to keep moving, but reduce inflammation, which is easy when the weather is awful here!
The snow machine has kicked in!
Also, we have signed ourselves up for Double Dare Dumbo at the end of August.. Don't worry if you don't know what that is, more posts coming soon.. This was a compulsive click on my part. My husband and I both came to the decision we were not going to do this race, but then I felt this small voice tell me to go for it and I just signed us up, despite "our" decision. My husband is game for it, we are just going to have to save $$ like crazy.. Not a planned adventure... Every penny is being saved to make this trip happen.
Weight: I really would like to lose 25 pounds this year. I need to lose it. As much running as I have been doing, I continue to keep weight off, but I am not losing much, which is frustrating. I need to lose the weight and keep it off. Goal date: July 1, 2013
I started WW and was losing, but fell off the band wagon right before our Marathon and after our Daniel fast.. Today, I am back on it.. Will keep you posted, trying to get more fruits, vegetables and healthy proteins in my diet.
Sugar I love candy. It is one thing that I struggle to give up..
I had been doing really good with this, until the past week.. My hormones told me it was time for chocolate and sweets.. Totally tanked it.. Only had 1 treat at Disney World, Dole whips are fantastic!
Salt I love all things salty. Crackers, chips, munchies. I am going to need to cut down this area too..
This has been on and off.. Not getting real far on this goal.. Sigh..

For the month of January, we have paid off 1 medical bill!

Pay off 1 student loan.
We have $525.oo left on a loan. We're getting close..
Pay off half of Drew's Car:
Haven't touched this goal, except for regular payments.
Start saving $ for a house:
Haven't saved a dime!
Our travel plans for this year are going to be dramatically different. Since we are planning a trip to California, none of these adventures will happen. I'm a little disappointed, but that is the price you pay for being a runner, who wants to travel the world!!!
1) Visit a Christmas Story House in Ohio!
2) See the Home Alone House!
3) Spend a week at the Happiest Place on Earth in the summer!
Bible: I would like to read the entire Bible in 1 year. Every year I set out to do this and every year I get halfway through, stop, give up and get discouraged. I can do this! I believe this would help me grow closer to God.
On track for this goal!
God Size Dreamer: I have the opportunity to dream with other women about the dreams God has placed in our hearts. I am excited to be on this team and exploring the dream God has for my life... Even though, I have no clue what it is..

Finish my 101 in 1001 goals: It ends this year! I have 49/101 in to go! Every goal not finished = $1 to St. Judes Research Hospital
Just checked off another 101 in 1001 goals! 50/101.(Almost halfway). I can do this!
