You know 9 Miles is going to suck...

You know 9 miles is going to suck when....

A) You stop sweating at mile 6 and realize you should have properly hydrated the evening before.

B) Your legs are bricks and no matter how many times you pull off to stretch, they wont stretch out.

C)  No matter how much you try to pace yourself, 9 miles feels like death.

D) All of the above.


If you answered D, you're correct. My 9 mile run was horrible. Obviously, my body has not recovered from the 14 mile I endured last weekend. My knees feel like bricks are hitting them every time my feet, hit the pavement, and no amount of stretching seems to loosen them up... 

The success in today's run was the fact that I did not get a Blister!! Cheers for that!! The other success was seeing MOM. I love living close to my parents. You never know who you might see out on your runs... I saw Mom twice and she honked at me!! It made my stride go a bit longer and faster for a few minutes :) 

Now, I am off to reading more of the Hunger Games and scrapbooking...
