Well, Mr. Chiropractor had been accepting a co-payment, but failed to let me know that my responsibility was actually a $750 deductible and then the insurance would kick in.. Why would you take a co-payment if I actually needed to pay the entire amount? I was very angry. Why wouldn't you tell me ahead of time? So, I would tell you "no" and that I will have to deal with the pinched nerve without your help.
As a patient, I should have taken a more active role in understanding that I had this deductible, but my husband had gone in the past and only had to pay a co-payment, so we didnt realize that our insurance had changed. Frustrated!
No matter how determined we are to get out of debt, something continues to smack us in the face and try to keep us in debt.
We are trying to stay positive. Not to mention, trying to pray for healing and financial relief.
Matthew 6: 25-27
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
What is the hardest area for you to lean on God for?
