90 day Fitness Challenge

It is no secret that I have been trying to lose weight. I especially want to keep the weight off during the holiday season. I have been reading "90 day Fitness Challenge" written by biggest loser contestants Phil and Amy Parham. This book is teaching me a lot about changing my habits and my brain patterns. The book gives great information and then goes through 90 days of trying to lose weight. 


The best thing about this book, it invites the reader into actively taking the challenge. You have to measure your body in various parts, calculate your BMI, BMR and weight.  This book also holds you accountable as each day you have to write down what you have eaten. My goal is to lose 22 pounds by May, which is a healthy goal. That gives me at least six months. I know with the holidays around the corner, I did not want to be un-realistic, but I want an obtainable goal. This book is going to be in poor shape when I am done with it. It already has lots of writing all over and highlighting in many spots. As I go along this journey, I will share my knowledge with you! Let's kick off this 90 day challenge and see where God takes me!! If Phil and Amy can lose 256 pounds, surely I can lose 22! They both started out at a combined weight of 560lbs!!!
