Praying for Mr. Right

As little girls, most of us dream about our future husband and our perfect wedding day. We dream about "the one" and wonder the kind of person he is, where he lives and what kind of husband he will be. We wonder the type of Wife we will be? What does he look like and will he want a family? This book challenges young women to pray for their future mate while God prepares their hearts.

Authors Robin Gunn and Tricia Goyer share two different accounts of the way the Lord brought their husbands into their lives, both different, but inspiring filled with bible verses and inspiration. I enjoyed this book because it looks at relationships differently for teens. Robin and Tricia challenge teen readers to look forward to fulfillment in a future relationship and to long for the desires God has. It is so encouraging and inspiring, but also a quick read for teens. It is

I would recommend this book to young teenage girls, youth group leaders, moms of teens, college age girls. This book would be great as a devotional study for girls. It has pages to write in the blanks, questions and a "list" of future qualities a woman may want in a husband. This book will allow you to feel content where God has you, but will help you to look forward towards a future in a godly relationship. It also challenges to reader to look at oneself and pray about areas in which one struggles with in dating relationships.

I received a review copy of this book from WaterBrook Multnomah for my honest review.
