How many of you ever watched Charlie Brown as child?
Personally, I loved Snoopy, the black and white dog. I thought he was just adorable and I especially liked his friend Woodstock. I have always been a fan of the Holiday Movies; Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown wants a Dog for Christmas, You're In Love and Charlie Brown's Christmas (My favorite).
This afternoon we went on a mission to find "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" and waiting the day before Easter isn't exactly recommended. Although we had a heck of a time, I am proud to say we were are the proud of owners of a copy. This was my Easter Gift from Drew, but the best Easter gift is not found in a movie, decorating eggs or Easter candy, but that the Tomb is empty and HE is Risen.
While I enjoy traditions Easter Brings, I am reminded that Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our sins. I am reminded and grateful for eternal life, salvation and forgiveness. May you find many reasons to feel blessed this Easter season.
HE IS RISEN!
