Health, Wisdom, Weight

Health Update:

Ultra sound came back from my thyroid, my benign tumor has grown. The next step is to see a specialist, this may be causing the continual dizziness, but we won't know until it is removed. Possible surgery needed at some point, not really sure what the specialist will say.. Time will tell the story about this ordeal..

Friday, I had my wisdom teeth removed.. We found out afterwards, my bottom wisdom teeth were infected.. Wonderful eh? Anyways, I have spent the weekend relaxing, watching tv, eating pudding and lots of smoothies. My good friend Kels came over and kept me company for a while yesterday! Love that girlie! It was nice to catch up with her.

As far as the weight loss journey, I think I may have lost a couple of pounds due to the lack of eating. I never realized how much we use our back teeth to chew. I will find out Tuesday during our weigh in.

One thing I am learning about eating, losing weight and exercising is that the body needs 8-10 hours of sleep each night in order to lose weight. The reason is due hormones that are repairing our bodies. Also, the longer we stay awake, the more apt we are to eat food that our body doesn't need. Very interesting.

wow you have had an eventful week!! I hope the wisdom teeth goes ok for you! When I had mine out - I watched 4 seasons of friends straight through in 2 days!!!

Also the sleeep thing is interesting and definately something to keep in mind!
