I am doing to do my best and try to be faithful about documenting my weight loss journey. Thank you all who commented on my last post. I appreciate all of you and your encouragement.
Exercise: 3 mile walk
Diet: Lunch- Low Calorie Bread (40 calories per slice), Turkey (50 Calories per 5 slices), Lettuce and Peach Mango Salsa.. Yes, I put Peach Mango Salsa on my sandwich and it was so yummy. I am trying out new things, because I love MAYO on my sandwiches. The salsa was fat free and 0 calories! Water and Weight Watchers Yogurt.
Dinner- I struggle with dinner, no one is here and I feel like eating nothing or junk. I had a toasted piece of bread(35calories) with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. It was yummy! I am trying to get away from having butter on my bread.
However, I did eat a good amount of Tortilla chips with my Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, so I think today is a wash.
Daily tip: Eat 5-6 small meals daily. You wont crave bad food as much and wont over eat either!
What I'm Learning: I am learning to be conscious of everything I put into my mouth. I don't expect to get this right on the first week. I think for the next couple of weeks I will struggle with what to eat, how to eat, when to eat it and what is the most nutritious. It will take time, but I will keep posting.
Temptations: At school, one of our teachers made a dessert and I had time passing it up because I did not want to hurt his feelings. This instance made me realize that sometimes I do things for people that I don't really want to do. I didn't want the dessert, but I felt guilty. I did not take a piece of dessert despite the guilt I felt.
