Life isn't a fairytale, but 4329 Liberty Square provides shelter from the Storms of Life...

I thought I would give you a virtual tour of our little quaint apartment on 4329 Liberty Square SW.

First, you will have a look at our small, plain, but cute kitchen.

Welcome to our two person dinner table. It is very small as you can see, but it fits us perfect. Hopefully, we wont be adding to our family anytime soon, so it will work for us.. lol..
Oh, the Kitchen.. Hrm.. I love our new stove, the cupboards bother me.. I hate all the fake wood paneling.. Must get working on that.. Oh, and I throw all my crap on the bar.. It's so convenient.
My favorite reading chair. It is like the big comfy kind that you find at Barnes & Nobles. One could sit in this chair for hours reading a great book. I completely skipped the couch because the reading chair is the BOMB!
Moving on to our wonderful Mickey Bathroom. Yes, we have a Mickey bathroom, I know... I am a little crazy, oh, well!! This is our Mickey Mouse Shower..
Now you must look closely at these pictures.. They are all disney themed... Our bathroom is still in progress, but some disney themed art is up!
Yes, Mickey and Minnie are sitting right by the sink. If you come over, you will see we have Mickey Soap.. Oh and we have Mickey Ice Cubes too!!
We have a rug too... :)
Our Huge King Bed!! It is so cozy and big. Oh, do I love this! Probably favorite thing in the whole apartment. Best move to buy a King. Wouldn't buy a smaller bed.. The bedding is crazy expensive, but it is so worth every penny!

Oh, and my Closet, of course!

Life isn't a fairytale, but bridal showers are fun!

Leslie, sweet girl. She has been though enough junk this year. It is wonderful to just seeing her smile.. A smile can mean the world to someone who is expecting it!

Our beautiful clock.. You will see it hanging up when I put the apartment pictures up..

My cake.. YUM!

Life would not be the same without Cricket. She has been a great mentor and pray parnter. I am so thankful for her love, support and prayers. She is always giving me a great laugh and making me thankful for what I have.

Where would I be without my mom? Mom's are such a gift. If you are lucky like me, you know they are irreplacable. Their countless teaching opporunities are in the small things. My mom has taught me so much about life, and how to love others. She has taught me the gift of kindness, hardwork and a grateful heart. She is a blessing.. So glad I could share this with her.

My kid sister, is the other half of my soul! She is my soul mate. She is my other half, best friend, love her to death and would do anything for her. I am so thankful that God gave me a little sister.. She is the sweetest gift, a sister could ever ask for. She has been such a influence on my life and has been an inspiration. So thankful to share such wonderful memories with her.

Grandma made this for Drew and I. It says " God has poured out his love into our heardts by the holy spirit who he has given us" Romans 5:5. "United in Love Sarah Smith and Andrew Storm July 10, 2010 Olivet Reformed Church Grandville, MI".. She did such a wonderful job.. We are awaiting to hang it up.... It hasnt found a spot on the wall yet, but it will..

Life isn't always a fairytale...

Over the past year, it seems my blog has gone to the wayside. .You see, when trying to finish your internship, work and plan a wedding, it no longer seems to be a huge need or demand. I was just trying to make it through another day. Last year was know as survival mode, but now, I am just trying to weather the storms of life...

The process of planning and having the wedding was no small feat. I have in-laws who aren't always peachy and can be demanding. The wedding planning has not been fun and I wish I would have eloped. I have this tendency to be too honest, sometimes I have been told I have "diarrhea of the mouth".. I apologize if I open my big mouth too much, but I have a lot on my mind and I can't move forward, unless I purge it out... It seems that helps..

First, I thought I would share my accomplishment with graduating with a Masters Degree in Social Work. I ended up with a G.P.A of 3.75, which was a major accomplishment in my book. Never, did I ever, think I would obtain a Masters Degree in anything.. Huge feat. It requires two years of studying, reading, research and full year long internship of 25 hours a week.. So thankful to be done! I've learned a lot and now I am ready for a job..
