The new job is going wonderful! I must say I am enjoying myself! The kiddo's are fun and keep me on my toes!
School is school. I am very busy. I am learning a lot about the mental health disorders individuals face. It is very startling to hear the number and statistics, but it is also very good to be aware. Today, I am studying for a huge mid-term on monday. I am nervous since it is 30% of my grade.
On another note, thank you for the prayers concerning my dads job situation. He has a interview on monday.. Let's hope that is the right one!
Finally, I have been thinking a lot about life recently. At school, a little girl from Africa preciously eats all her food during lunch. I am amazed to see how every day she licks the tray completely empty, yet she is so skinny. I knew from the moment I saw her that she was from Africa. It brings me back to my days there. I think I have fallen in love with the African people. They are so thankful, generous and kind. Their attitude amazes me and touches me at the deepest part of my soul. Everyday I see this little girl, I am reminded of her gracious and thankful attitude. My hope is that one day I will be able to adopt a child or go back and spend more time there!
Until my next post, have a wonderful valentines day!
